'cause what i've really been doing this week is geeking out and making drapes for the house!
these are the ones in the bedroom...i'm easily distracted


oh, and i made this really cool edition print of a heart drawing on sheet music, about 15 prints.
the light caught the image but the whole heart is red...i really gotta go back to a better camera in the studio...

supplies...

so there's this thing that happens when you paint too much...
you gotta buy more supplies!
and on my delightfully low budget this requires me to be creative.
and bah! not get to but all the supplies i want at any given time :(
but i was able to get three new sheets of plywood to cut into panels to paint on.
i cut them down to size on thursday and i'm gessoing them this weekend!

and i'm getting some canvas ready to screen print on.
which basically means i'm making a bloody mess of the shop,
paint every which where and water dripping onto the floor...

above is a picture of what they look like now
and i'm going for something like this from a few years ago
i'll be screenprinting some images from a road trip last year to texas on the canvas.
they are about 11"h by 17"w.

so this weekend is a little bit about prep,
which isn't nearly as fun as drawing...
maybe i'll take a few minutes and draw those rabbit bodies onto the deer heads on one of my panels...
