Totebags!!!

woohoo! totebags are done!
80 or so, in natural, red and black.
heres a pic of all of the designs i went with.
i went with short runs on these because i'm getting the hang of the fabric inks and I wanted to have a good selection.
there is about 11 different designs, something for everyone!
i have a feeling i'll sell the black and red ones the fastest but they cost more so maybe not.
if you're reading this and you would like one i'll selling them at Felt Club in a few weeks and they will prolly be 16.00 each for the natural ones and a tad more for the others.


and here's a few prints from the last few weeks.
i'm going to be working on some more complicated ones in the next few weeks so i'm super excited about that.

I work from home most days and because I live in the woods
(yep, the woods! 20minutes from downtown los angeles!) all sorts of wildlife wander through our yard. it's cool, well except for the rattlesnakes and bobcats...those i give a WIDE berth...

Here's what I've been up to these last few weeks. Screen printing, painting and puttering about the studio in between working a new job. I've been having these crazy long days but things are happening and buzzing over here in the woods so it's all goood!

This is the latest painting/drawing. It's smaller than the others because I was experimenting with a new surface to print on. Hopefully I'll have some new fresh panels to print/paint/draw on in the next week.

I printed my website on one side and now I'm working my way through the images I want to print on the front side. Tonight I printed this great image of a heart of red and on natural tote bags. Here's some sorta crappy pics because the lighting in the shop is sorta crappy but you get the idea. I'm going to sell them at Felt Club in July so stay tuned!

ah, screenprinting...

sometimes it goes better than i have hopes for!

i exposed a whole batch of new screens tonight and it went well!

great exposures with good emulsion washout, it seems easy ya' know but since i'm still figuring out the kinks in the new studio it still makes me pleased as punch when things appear to go well!

i switched to using transparencies for my negatives and it seems to be worth the investment, yay!
